<aside> 💡 Video conferencing and chat systems are pretty interchangeable these days, but we’ve split them into which is best at each. What do we mean by that? Zoom for example offers messenger chat, but is far better at video calls and we wouldn’t recommend it for chat.

Butter💫

🤔 What is it? A virtual collaboration program built for planning, running, and recapping engaging and interactive collaborative sessions.

👍 Fab because it has a wide range of really useful integrations. It works well with low-bandwidth internet sources and has a feature which shows recaps of meetings or workshops.

<aside> 💫 SaaSy favourite - we love Butter, it’s a really interactive, easy to use platform and a nice alternative for collaborative workshops, presentations and other online sessions.

🔽 It’s not so great as it doesn't currently have a meeting booking feature or calendar feature which would come in handy when organising sessions.

Zoom💫

🤔 What is it? Well known for its video conferencing capabilities.

👍 Fab because the free plan offers 40-minute meeting limits, which is ace as it keeps things shorter than the usual hour default. It also allows you to record the meetings (most others keep this to the paid plans).
