<aside> 💡 Video conferencing and chat systems are pretty interchangeable these days, but we’ve split them into which is best at each. What do we mean by that? Zoom for example offers messenger chat, but is far better at video calls and we wouldn’t recommend it for chat.

Slack💫

🤔 What is it? Built for work, it's the app where you can instantly reach your team on the go or at your desk.

👍 Fab because we love the user interface and its ease of use, and the veritable plethora of integrations available. Provides great private and group messaging. Automated channels where system updates are great. Lots of options without being overkill.

<aside> 💡 💫 SaaSy favourite because it can be free forever for many teams. The biggest limitations on the free plan are, 90 day chat history only, and some limitations on channel visibility.

🔽 It’s not so great as there are limitations on the free plan.

Microsoft Teams

🤔 What is it? The hub for team collaboration in Microsoft 365, it integrates the people, content, and tools your team needs to be more engaged and effective

👍 Fab because of easy sharing of files and photos. Integration with other Microsoft products is dead easy.

🔽 It’s not so great at video calls generally, sound equalising isn’t amazing. User interface could do with updating. Opening files can be a big laggy.
